The Official launch of GUI Ulster Strokeplay Championship. 
Massereene Golf Club will also be co-Hosting the GUI N.I. Open Strokeplay Championship on Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th may 2019. This is a championship for both ladies and gents top Amateur golfers. The championship will be played over two courses both Massereene and Galgorm Castle golf courses. A 54 hole event with a cut after 36 holes. The top three men and women of this event will qualify for the N.I. Open Professional Open Championship which will be held in August 2019.
As with the Professional event in August, the Amateur Strokeplay Championship will be the first of its kind in Europe consisting of both male and female competitors!
